Wow, so far we all agree on who we want in the Western Conference.
I love the Hawks! I would love for them to get rid of the Red Wings.

I love that Khabi's avi and board name work great for the Western Conference and her CT of "who needs a team when you have Sid" works great for the East. Perhaps we all knew this day was going to come! LOL

Wellll.. the Hawks did pretty good through the first two periods and then in the third the Wings just turned it on and played like.. well.. the Wings. As much as I don't want them to take this series they are such a complete team to watch on the ice. Hawks take their first loss. *sigh*

Everytime I watch the Red Wings I'm amazed at how their passes just seem to make the other teammates stick. They are very good. I think the Blackhawks will have their hands full. Hopefully they can meet the challenge.

Oh, Khabi... what did they do to you? Your defense had problems, you let a couple of softies past you... I'm so glad this is the first game. So c'mon, Hawks! Take the Wings down the hard way!!

Good news, Hawks! They were 3-0 during the first and most of the second period and then the Wings tied it up in the last 5 minutes. Was reading the Blackhawk forum and Khabi had an excellent 35 minutes and then lost things in the last 5. He ended up leaving and Huet taking his place with Crawford as the back up goalie. Seems the Wall had a lower body injury or he's got the flu, depending on which post you read. He's evidently been trying to play through it and didn't make it. Looks like I need to head up to Chicago and give my guy some good ol' Southern TLC LOL
And Look! I've reached the 600 post mark! Woot!
