Dear Philadelphia Flyers, You let AO score. That's a problem in and of itself. But of all games, why Game 6? You had a chance to move on to round two tonight. But nope, you decided to let AO show off, and now the series is going 7. If you lose Game 7, I will be entirely pissed for quite a while. Trust me, it's not something you will want to see. Don't push me that far. Thanks. -Mel Mel, LMAO, are you sure you didn't get in my head to write that? That is exactly how I felt last night. I have been wearing my Flyers jerseys, shirts or orange and black for a week and a half. I have been pumping them up to everyone. Well after last night, I had it. Today to work I wore my new pink stripe shirt and my new pink flip flops celebrating the warm weather. I even went to my other part time job tonight resigned to the fact that whatever happens, happens. I only had to work till 9 so I got to see the end of the game and I can't believe they won. I was so scared. This afternoon I was listening to sports radio and the host, some guy named Howard Eskin, said if your scared about tonight, hug your dog, so that's what I did. Maybe it worked. I am so Flyered Up!!! Sorry JWills Curl Gurl ;D

So the Filthy Flyers win it in OT.... Oh well. I'll be happy for Prospal since he got traded up there. And for Biron because he stood on his head last night.

WooWooo Flyers!!! I cheered that OT goal almost as loudly as the Stars win!
As has been well documented, I'm not a big AO fan. That said, the man showed true class and dignity last night. Outside the genuine embraces and encouragements he gave the Flyers in the handshake line, his staying on the ice and saluting the fans almost brought me to tears. While most of the Caps players had hit the locker room, there stood Ovie and Olie at center ice, clapping and gesturing towards the fans. I thought that was amazing.

I was truly torn as to who I wanted to win - I like Smith, Lupul and Biron on Philadelphia. I also like Ovie.....he is awesome to watch. If I am not mistaken they now meet the Habs.

I could only imagine how it would feel.. lucky for us we won our game 7... not so sure I find any reason to take a dig at fans of the unlucky losing team.... wouldn't feel so great if that was a picture of Canes fans up there would it?? Just sayin.......

I might have wanted the Flyers to win, but I sincerely feel bad for the Caps fans. They have been through a roller coaster with their team and continued to pack the arean. They too showed class and dignity last night in their applause of the BOTH teams.

Well actually, I was at the Hurricanes last game this year and I am pretty sure there were so Caps fans out there celebrating, just like I was last night, because we lost and they were going to win the division! All this was happening while I was sitting in my seat stunned like all the Caps fans were last night, so I do know how it feels...

I'm torn on how i feel about him(AO) now. When he scored in game 4, he turned to the fans and screamed "F You" really loud, you could hear it on the replay on Versus website. The link doesn't send you there anymore and i can't find it on youtube. i know in the heat of the moment you get pumped and he was probably frustrated but to say it to the fans is low.

Way to go Flyers, Way to go! *clap clap* This picture is incredible, I mean the look on the fans faces is PRICELESS! The fans threw trash at the Flyers players last night. A pizza box landed on the guys as they were celebrating. Also, someone threw a glass beer bottle at Jeff Carter when he was talking to our on ice guy after the game. He turned and looked at the guy and said "that was classy" they should have been arrested, IMO. And you know what's the icing on the cake, a Washington Post writer wrote and article during the series and said that Philly and their fans had no class and said their woman and children looked liked security for a Megadeath concert Hey, I'm one of those woman. There was trash everywhere on the ice. Did anyone see it?

Ok.. well then if you know how it feels then why do you feel it necessary to make fun of them? Hate whatever player you want or whatever team you want but fans make the team and without fans there would be no teams.. that's all I'm saying.

That's pretty low of the Caps fans to do that...but at the same time Philly fans have done things just as bad. I'm not trying to start something, and I will openly admit to always hating the Flyers and therefore I tend to lean a certain way...but I mean...it's hard to say, "hey look at those horrible Caps fans!" when they were playing the Flyers...
