I don't care how much hate he's getting this year, I still love him and his perfect nose.

Awwwwww, that's sweet, Mel. He's one of Dallas' favourites & she feels bad when he gets all that crap thrown at him, too. Nice shot of him there.

Tomas is nice... but Frankie gets my vote. As for the perfect nose, here's a good example. Catherine made a sig when Marcus first cut down the sig sizes and it still makes me laugh: See? Perfection.

There's another one of Chara and Martin St. Louis shaking hands... but Cath cut off Chara's head. It said something along the lines of "Because of the new rules on the message boards, Chara's head didn't fit."

I haven't seen a post from here over there in a long while but she did IM me out of the blue the other day. She might just be busy with school. She's either a junior or a senior (I think it's the latter), so no doubt she's got a lot on her plate.

*walks in slowly, plops down... and pulls out drool towel* oh boy do i have a story for you ladies! We were at the game today (which is great because I got to see alot of Commie). And I was sooo happy that Frank got the assist. But that's not what this is about... after the game mom get's John Forsy to sign my Commie jersey, we're all standing at the elevater (me, mom, Door Keeper, and John) and the doors open...and it's Frank standing there in his suit w/ his wife and new baby(shocker!)!!! I waved and smiled... he did the same back OMJ !*extra drool* I waited untill the doors were closed back on them before freaking out. Even John was grinning at this!! and I called him out on it too, he just started grinning more. I really didn't care. Mom says i was SO red, if i had been wearing red i would have been the same shade i guess... *takes a few deep breaths* unbelievable!! the best little surprise of my day!

I presumed it was a new addition to the Kaberle family, esp. since standing next to him was his wife Katarina & their little girl Francesca, & Frank had his hands on the handlebar of the baby carriage in front of him.
And I'm still laughing at Dallas' red face from yesterday from her Frantisek sighting!!!

Well I just got confirmation on my own question. Quote: Hurricanes general manager Jim Rutherford confirmed today that the team has placed defenseman Frantisek Kaberle on waivers. Kaberle, 35, is in his fourth season with the Canes and has missed 24 games because of injuries. Kaberle scored the winning goal in the seventh game of the 2006 Stanley Cup final against the Edmonton Oilers. "It's always tough to break ties with someone," Rutherford said. "He was a big part of the Cup run and scored the big goal. "But at some point, it's a part of our business that you have to cut ties. The first half of the season we talked about cutting our defense. We're getting to the point our defense is healthier, and we've had guys come in from Albany and do a good job as depth guys. "We decided to move a contract and give him a chance with someone else. If he clears waivers, he'll still be a part of our team."

Interesting. I hope that 1, that means Nicky will be back soon and 2, it's clearing room for something else. And that's a BIG IF someone takes him. I know a couple of teams are looking for puck moving dmen but would they be willing to take on the risk that comes with Kabs at this point?
