Puck drops on the last preseason game of the season at 11:00 am on our boys in Russia.
Canes have put up loads of great pictures and articles of their travels on the main site if you haven't check them out.
They say those Russian hockey teams mean business when they play so I'm just hoping a good time is had by all and we leave in one piece. Then it's on to Helsinki!

We'll either be on a plane from RDU -> CLT or sitting in one of the airports during the game. Odds are I won't even bother trying to stream it online since it will be in Russian. Here's to the boys starting this European trip off the right way!! LET'S GO CANES!!

Well damn that was UGLY. I"m glad it appears we got out of there in one piece. I sure hope Joe's injury is really "minor".
I don't ever want to have to put our boys in that kind of situation again.

I'm keeping the positive thoughts where Joe's "injury" is concerned since we haven't heard anything since. At least I haven't seen anything. There were quite a few of us sitting in the Raleigh airport for most of this game and following on twitter. We were some pretty pissed off Caniacs.

Safe to say, I don't think we'll be playing in Russia again any time soon. Ugh. Glad that it seems the injurys are mild.
