I have to agree with Mel on this one. I can't help but think that would have been a rather awkward situation/distraction through the season that the Sens didn't need.

I agree that the Sens got the better end of that deal. Cheechoo will rebound in the different environment and the Sharks now have 2 players with no playoff "heart". It speaks volumes about Heatly's willlingness to be a team player considering he refused to return phone calls from his captain throughout the season and summer.
