With the free agency starting tomorrow at noon, I was wondering what sites everyone keeps track of to get the best up to date info. I'm working till 5 tomorrow and want to somehow be able to find out who is going where.

I remember last year it seemed like DG, Treici and myself were practically falling all over each other trying to get stuff posted fast enough on this board. I'm going to have a crazy day at work tommorow and won't be able to keep up quite as well as last year. This was always one of my favorites tsn.ca/I just use nhl.com too. I don't remember which site it seemed we were all on last year but I remember it updated constantly and gave you line by line trades that were very easy to keep up with. I'm sure DG remembers, she's younger than I am. LOL

I was going to ask the same thing. The only way I'll be able to get info is my blackberry till I get home.

I would if I could but tommorow is the first of the month and my day of hell at the office.

www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=283345Bouwmeester signs with the Flames for 5 years. In other news...Heatley has not waived his NTC for a trade to Edmonton. Reports are unclear whether he said 'no' or just did not have a chance to respond.

Mel, I'd be happy to send texts to you. I'll contact you everywhere I know to find you and get your number. I got lucky. Every boss I have is out of the office today. So I'll be sitting here with the door closed, tsn.ca up, a radio link to some semi-intelligent guys going and working on my Farm.

DG sounds like you are going to have the pefect work day! I may have to rely on your posts here to help keep me updated as well unless things slow down and I can breathe this afternoon. Take it easy on the farming.. you're putting me to shame! LOL

I'm working on upgrading to the largest land possible then saving up for a farm house and a mansion and a playground for my pet squirrels, Corvo and Goald. Sedin twins have apparently agreed to a 5 year extension with the Canucks.

With all the rain here we are somewhat slow today so hopefully I can check from time to time what's going on. Both papers here this morning mentioned Larose as a good pickup on their online stories/blogs. Also we are in need a backup goalie and defensive players so I'm curious of who they will get there.

Sedin twins resign with Canucks per TSN:
After being drafted together in 1999, and playing their entire careers on the same club, the Sedin brothers Daniel and Henrik will continue that trend with the Vancouver Canucks.
The brothers have signed a pair of five-year contacts, averaging $6.1 million a season.
Playing side by side for the Canucks, the duo has amassed 288 goals, 634 assists, and 922 points in 1,288 games combined.
The 2008-2009 season was arguably their best year yet, with Daniel leading the Canucks in goal scoring with 31, the second highest output of his career, while Henrik had a career-high 22 goals, as both finished with 82 points on the season.
Daniel and Henrik entered the league as the second and third overall selections by the Vancouver Canucks in the 1999 NHL Entry Draft.
More to follow.

Old for sure. Injury prone is questionable but is valid enough that I certainly wouldn't have given him 7. Price is great on him though and he'll be a good mentor for rookie Hedman, being Swedish and all.
