Ovie's not one that makes it difficult to know everything going on with him..crazy boy. He even got his own twitter in the last week or so. He has a facebook (which isn't all that surprising b/c I'm pretty sure many of these guys have that) and livejournal...That Ovenchicken is quite the accessible rock star. LOL

Why doesn't it surprise me that they didn't interview Eric? *sigh* It wasn't DG that knew about Ovie's lack of lady friend Turnie it was me! I obviously spend way too much time on the internet! LOL LOL...sorry Curl...not paying attention I guess!! I never find stuff like that on the net!!

The skills competition was excellent......MStaal got two goals in the rookie/sophomore game. Ovechin and Malkin were acting like best buds...so much for a feud. Shane Doan won the elimination shoot out and said no one would be more surprised than his teammates on the Yotes!!
Can't wait for the game tonight!!

The Ovie and Malkin thing was hilarious! Shane Doan was awesome in the elimination shoot out and I think I enjoyed listening to Mark Savard miked up most of all! He did a great job.

I to enjoyed the camaraderie of Malkin and Ovechkin. You had to vote for him after all the props he had, though I must admit St. Louis did a great job too. I also enjoyed Marc Savard being miked up. I would have liked to seen him win it. I was disappointed about Eric not getting into any other competition this year. But it was good to see Jeff Carter almost take fastest skater.

Is it just me or did Savard remind ya'll a little bit of Aaron Ward?

We didn't get the miked up stuff...well except for Luc Robitaille when he coached the rookies. I was glad Cogliano got the fastest skater...he said it made up for Cole taking it from him at the Oilers Superskills.

... Ovechin and Malkin were acting like best buds...so much for a feud... I don't know about that but they are at least attempting to work things out. I read that Ilya Kovalchuk was responsible for getting them to sit down and talk and would guess it was in the best interest of Team Russia for the 2010 Olympics....they just mentioned on the pre-game show that Ovie and Malkin also went to dinner last night after the skills comp to talk....

Ovie and Malkin had dinner together? That's great to hear and if Ilya was the one that made it all happen that makes it even better. It's nice to hear they can act like adults.

What exactly were they feuding over?

Nobody knows really. There were friends then there were reports that Ovie clocked Malkin's agent and then they were trying to kill each other on the ice.....

Hey, what are the links to Ovechkins Twitter/FB/LJ, if you have them?
Btw, I'm in the LiveChat if anyone wants to join me for the game.
