The first game of the boy's long road trip, puck drops at 10:30 pm... yes that's 10:30 pm and is being shown on FSN or your free Center Ice Preview. I was hoping to see our Timmy play against Jack Johnson but JJ is out for the next three months with an injury. For those of you staying up to watch this one I hope you can sleep in on Saturday, I think I will be using the DVR option! GO CANES!!!! Anyone know when the last time was that we even played the Kings? For some reason I don't remember playing them at all last season.

Wish I could stay up and watch the game but I've got to work the weekend and sleeping in won't be an option for me. Not much use in recording it either since the weekend is already jam packed with things to do (not including the job) so I just won't have time for it. Sigh.
Tonight I'll be watching the Trashers. Could care less about whether they win or not (unless Moose is in the crease) but they're playing the Devils and I love watching Brodeur!!!
Hasn't it been at lesat two years or more since the Canes played the Kings? Did they play after the Canes won the cup?

The Kings would have visited the Canes in the 2006/2007 season. We were still in the new/old style of schedule where each divisions visited one other division in the other conference each season and that was it. In the Cup year the Canes would have gone to LA. I'll be up watching. I'm kind of used to those late West Coast starts thanks to the Stars being in the freaking PACIFIC division which is just STuPID!

I'll be watching too. I'm going to the fair tomorrow, so I'll probably get home late anyway. I stay up that late normally too.

*sigh*... so we squander a three goal lead and now it seems Kaberle has a fractured foot? I suppose having not watched the game the only good thing I can say is at least we came out of it with a point. I bet Lavi is steaming!!! LOL

We had a good 2nd period and that was it. IT! For as bad as he's been the last 2 years, you could really see the difference once Kabs was injured and no longer available. Pitkanen is completely to blame for the OT goal. I'm afraid he's showing exactly why the Philly and Edmonton fans were happy to be rid of him. Grrrrr
