Man, Timmy C with his belt buckle? LOOOOOVE IT!!!
I would definitely have found an Irish Pub for him! He can come down here and I'll take him downtown and we can have woodpecker cider together!

Can I just say I love Joe Corvo! LOL
Canes still up against the schedule Submitted by chipalexander on 03/20/2009 - 11:31 Tags: Canes Now | Joe Corvo | Paul Maurice For the Hurricanes, it's one last back-to-back set.
And another three games in four nights. And another four in six.
"It's ridiculous," defenseman Joe Corvo said today of the scheduling. "That's all you can say about it — it's ridiculous.
"And then coming into the end of the season we're getting four-day breaks. It doesn't make any sense. We barely had a Christmas. ... It just doesn't make any sense."
Corvo smiled, adding, "I don't know. I guess it's geniuses behind the scenes."
The Canes, who face the New York Islanders and Washington Capitals in the back-to-back, are 6-5-2 in the front halves of those sets this season but 10-3-0 in the second halves. Often, there has been travel involved.
Any rhyme or reason as to why the record is so much better in the second games?
"I think a lot of it has to with Paul Maurice coming in (as coach)," Corvo said. "I just think he has a real good feel for our team and he just prepares us that way.
"If we need that little extra kick, it's done before the game starts rather than after the first or second period, when it's too late. I just think a lot credit should go to him for that — he has us ready to play every game."
Maurice said for some players, the back-to-backs are easier — notably for the Canes goaltenders. Cam Ward is 6-2-0 with a 1.88 GAA in the second half of the sets and Michael Leighton is 4-1-0 with a 2.38 GAA.
"I don't think it's as difficult to play in back-to-back games as it was maybe 10 years ago," he said. "Just the lack of clutching and grabbing and all the things they've taken out of the game, it's allowed you to have more energy the next night.
"I think we're in pretty good shape as a team and reasonably fit. And we've gotten good goaltending."
The Islanders should be fresh tonight. They've haven't played since Sunday.
Some schedule, huh?

Now this I can't wait to see! It’s almost a little like “The Newlywed Game” and I am pretty sure Kyle Hanlin picked the right subject. Ray Whitney sat down and answered a series of personal questions for the crew, and then his lovely wife, Brijet, and teammate Matt Cullen were asked the same questions to see if they could guess Ray’s answers. We will certainly let you know when the feature is available for viewing.

Lol.. we kind of stuck that in the game day thread from last night and I remarked on how cool I thought the baby's name was. Sounds like a hockey player name to me!
