1. Upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any content that is unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, torturous, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of anyone's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable, or that advertises or solicits funds or goods or services for or of any person or entity; Circumventing profanity filters by using symbols (*, !, @, etc.) in place of a letter is no different than using the curse word itself.
1a. We have had trouble in the past with comments implying certain innuendos. Please remember that this is a family forum, and think before you post. If you wouldn't be comfortable letting your teenaged daughter/sister read it, you probably shouldn't post it on the public forum.
2. Impersonate any person or entity, or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity.
3. Upload, post, email or otherwise transmit any content that you do not have a right to transmit under any law or under contractual or fiduciary relationships (such as inside information or proprietary or confidential information learned or disclosed as part of employment relationships or under nondisclosure agreements).
4. Impersonate another board member or create an account specifically for the purpose of provoking other users. This really pisses them off, and pisses the Administrators off.
5. Sigs and profiles must remain suitable at all times and it is the users responsibility to ensure this. Any links to inappropriate web sites, or if any picture or words are offensive, the admins will remove them. Please keep sigs a decent size. Administrators reserve the right to remove any avatar or signature at their discretion and without warning. We will usually give you the option of altering or removing said image first.
6. The Administrators and Moderators reserve the right to interpret the rules as they see fit.
7. Failure to follow the above rules may result in your account being suspended either on a temporary basis or permanently. We may, at our discretion, issue a warning, but are under no obligation to do so.
8. You may not create topics about why topics were locked. If you are not sure, or feel a topic was locked unfairly, contact an Administrator. We will get back to you as soon as we can.
9. Age is not a defining factor on these forums. This board is operated by two people, and we have final say. We may be younger than some or most of you, but we understand our obligations as the proprietors of the board to maintain certain standards of decency. We have and always have had an open door policy, if you have a question, shoot us a PM and we will do our best to get you an answer. Sometimes that answer may have to be a "no".
