Indeed: That's ghastly stuff to read, and obviously much more to endure. Here's to a speedy, comfortable, and 100% complete recovery for Cam.

!!!!! Eeeesh! As a Sabres fan who has seen the Malarchuk incident way to many times, the combination of goalies and skate wounds is pretty creepy to me, even if it's just his leg. Woah...Poor Cam. Why did this happen...last night I was trying to focus on that other 30...Mr. BRODEUR (i really do like him, but not when he's playing my team...) ...Yikes.

Maybe your thoughts on #30 hit the wrong #30 and now my Cam has suffered!!! No....I saw it happen Steph and this one wasn't you at all. Brad Isbister fell and slid under him with his skate blade up and caught him.
Poor Cam. :-(
Poor me! :-(

Now Mellers.. don't say that.. if we don't make the playoffs it surely won't be because of Cam being injured... Johnny is a VERY capable goalie with playoff experience.... it will more likely be due to the fact that the REST of our team can't seem to find the net!!!!!!!!

I'm not as concerned about play offs as I am about Cam's recovery. Slicing a muscle isn't good but they've got the best docs and therapists taking care of him. I'm hoping he'll be on the mend safe and whole.
As for Brodeur, I enjoy watching him, even if he is going up against the Canes. The man is just one awesome goalie!

I like Brodeur too, I get to see him Thursday night actually. Maybe that will help take away the pain of Cam not being there. :-(

My heart breaks for you Camo. Here's to you getting well soon. While he is out, I am certain John Grahame will carry the team just fine.

Oh my God. I didn't think the laceration was that bad. Talk about a fluke accident. Johnny can do it. I just hope the rest of the team will play how they know they can. No more injuries please. Heather, sorry, and give him some good ole TLC from us.

I, too, am more worried about Cam healing OK from this -- and being a great goalie for the long-haul -- than the short-term playoffs. I feel fine with JG in goal as long as the rest of the team shows up at to score at the other end, which has not often been the case.

I do not want to hear that the Canes are not making the playoffs...... NO NEGATIVE KARMA...do you hear me!!?? My other team - Edmonton - is not making the playoffs so the Canes have to. Johnny can do and Cam will get well very quickly and be ready for the playoffs. Think positive and it will happen.
