Wow, two shutouts, what's with the Pens? I didn't get to see much of the game since I was working at Starbucks. What a boring night, I don't know why they have regular hours, we sat around all night. I saw the last 5 minutes or so. We shall see what happens in Pittsburgh. I heard Malkin doesn't like to play on the road, GET OVER IT! Where's Sid the Kid been too?
Detroit in 6.
Ozzy! Ozzy! Ozzy!

I take comfort in one thing: No one who has ever won the President's Trophy has gone on to win the Cup.
Detroit won it this season.

I've never been a big Therrien fan but he has valid points and I'm glad someone finally publicly called Osgood out for his dramatics. I've lost quite a bit of respect for Ozzie this playoff year and I used to love the guy. AND Kronwall DOES leave his feet as often as he doesn't. I've noticed it, at least, all season long.

I agree on the Kronwall assesment, I've noticed that about him too.. guy better be careful. Haven't watched enough of Osgood to make an observation one way or the other so I can't comment there. I feel kind of bad for Therrien having to face the media scrutiny though.. I would think you would very rapidly run out of reasons and excuses why your team hasn't managed to score even one goal going into the third game of the Stanley Cup finals... that being said, I have read on several message boards today "veiled" references to Malkin saying something to the effect of him being "tired".. anybody know any more about that?

I didn't see anything about Malkin.
I did see Ozzy stretch his arm out to get the one call. Even I thought that was a bit out there and I'm rooting for the Wings.

Goalie interference is a tricky thing, wether he is diving or not .....no one really knows for sure 100%. I dont thinkn its that big of an issue because neither of the penalties called resulted in a P.P. goal.

As for Malkin...Don Cherry on CBC was saying that he thinks he is playing hurt. He took a hit in the last series and hasn't played the same since. What ever the reason it is time to suck it up.....this is it.

I think it's do or die tonight Turn... I say it's not going to matter.. hubby thinks they are going to win this one... at this point it would be nice just to see them score a freaking goal... if they do maybe it will give them the spark and confidence they need to at least make this a series!!!
