Geee... can't we somehow just let the Flyers and the Stars play a series just for the entertainment factor? LOL... I think I'm more depressed about the short amount of hockey we have left to actually watch than I am about who is winning or losing... *sigh* At the very least I expected this series to be seriously entertaining hockey, is it just me or has it been more like watching a freaking exibition match up?

As sad as it is for me to say this, yes it does look totally lopsided. The Pens did their homework on studying the Flyers. I'm going to ask all of you your opinions on this question, I already asked Susan. Is it possible that one person can make such a difference to a team?

Seriously!! Then again, as we Stars fans heard over and over last series, it's been 33 years since a team came back from 3-0 and it was 33 years before that it happened and 33 years...and so on and so on.
SO, maybe it'll be the Stars or Flyers who do it THIS year, 33 years later. *snerk*
I think yes but not in the traditional way one might think. It's an ambiguous question and answer in that I don't think one guy can win a game or a series but I do think one player can serve as inspiration and "heart" (to be cliched) for an entire team to go out and get the job done.

Is it possible that one person can make such a difference to a team? Yes.....at least in the sense of heart and soul and leadership maybe. There is more than one forward/defenseman and goalie on every team - yes different levels of skill but more than one of each. There is however only one captain for example or only one guy who picks the team up in the lockerroom. The Sens this year couldn't buy a win without their captain which forced him to play injured for a good portion of the second half of the season.

Well Timonen was Captain in Nashville and he is an alternate captain now since Gagne is hurt. He did not make the initial trip to Pittsburgh but flew out later with Ed Snider(owner) to give moral support. A lot of good that did. I'm sure he talked to the guys last night but who knows what's going on with them.

NO.. no sweep... the Flyers really need to win at least just one.. if not more.. if for no other reason than the longer they play the longer we have hockey to watch!! Besides.. these sweeps are rather boring.. I want exciting down to game 7 hockey!!!!!

YEA.. no sweep and the Flyers win one at home for the fans! Great game, both teams were finally playing like I've been waiting to see them the entire series. I love a little competition!! On to Game 5!

The only good thing to come out of last night was the fact that Jordan scored both goals.
Oh, and that one of the Flyers almost bashed in Sid the Kid's face.
