Going to OT with the Pens on a power play.. Rangers made a great comeback in the third and Ruutu constantly yapping at Jagr is cracking me up! *Edit*.. and the Pens take it... we shall now have a Pens/Flyers semi final to drive Mel insane...

*Edit*.. and the Pens take it... we shall now have a Pens/Flyers semi final to drive Mel insane... Ugh, don't remind me. I jumped up and screamed when the Pens won... and then promptly sat back down saying "Oh no, oh no," because I realized who they would be playing.

I felt bad for Lundqvist too.. mostly because I think I saw tears after the game ended.. *sigh* I'm such a softie... there was actually no way he could have stopped that last shot that won the game though so he really shouldn't blame himself.

I loved it when the Staal brothers gave each other a hug instead of just shaking hands. Whatever Marc said to Jordan made him laugh.
I feel your pain Mel...there are three Flyers that I would love to see win the cup. And I do love the Pens.....this will be an awesome series!!!

Ooh, poor Hank Did you girls know he was a twin? I had no idea his twin brother is on the Dallas Stars. Maybe because we rarely see them, even though I saw the Stars in Philly this year. I did hear the name but just thought it was another countryman.

I felt bad for Lundqvist too.. mostly because I think I saw tears after the game ended. I caught it. I thought he was, but then realized, "Wait, he's a dude, and they NEVER cry! WTF?!" But it does suck, so its understandable.

I felt so bad for Henke. Here's hoping his brother Joel, my favorite Lundqvist, does a bit better in the next 10 minutes of this game...

I didn't know it was his twin until the series started and they did a little piece about the two of them before one of the games. At least one brother gets to advance.. just like the Staals.

I think I saw that piece too but I thought they were saying they were identical. Then i looked Joel's name up and saw his picture and thought no way are they identical. In last nights game when they showed Joel on the bench, he looked more like Henrik than in the file photo. Hey, Dewalt did you stay up to watch that game? I tried to but eventually fell asleep during 3rd OT. That was an excellent game. The officiating was even better than the EC games. They let them play.

They are identical but I believe Joel's a little softer around the edges than his bro. LOL
I DID stay up. No way I was missing even a second. The officiating was indeed great in this game. I can't say the same for the other games this series, but the refs really let them play last night. Missed calls were missed both ways and even though the game ended on a power play, the game was NOT decided by the refs. Thank goodness!

Kind of weird how our semi final match ups turned out East- Pens who finished number 2 VS Flyers who finished number 6 West- Wings who finished number 1 VS Stars who finished number 5 Just goes to show you how much grit, determination and heart can carry you past the end of the season.
