Did you read my post to you from last night in the Pens/Sens thread about Don Cherry doing a stick stroking demo last night? ?

I don't think it has been decided yet......I think they meet the winner of the Montreal/Boston series...if I followed the chart right.

Not exactly Turnie. It's determined by points and is re-seeded after the first round (if I remember correctly, it's strictly by points after the 1st round and being a division winner doesn't automatically mean home ice, I could be incorrect here). That said, IF the Habs and Flyers win the remaining two series. The Habs would play the Flyers and the Pens the Rangers. If the Caps win and the Habs win it would be Habs/Caps and Pens/Rangers (Unless they are not re-seeded by points in which case it would be Habs/Rangers and Pens/Caps) If the Caps and Bruins win it would be Pens/Bruins and Caps/Rangers (no matter how they are re-seeded). If the Flyers and Bruins win it would be Pens/Bruins and Flyers/Rangers That all is IF I looked at the standings right! LOL Please correct me if I have one wrong!!

Correct you ? Not hardly... you lost me at HELLO!! LMAO.... I was thinking the Pens would play the Rangers but obviously it's much more complicated than that. I didn't know they did re-seeding and all that jazz... Thanks for going through all that for me DG!

Why do they have to make it so confusing? ? BTW...did anyone notice that Brodeur DID NOT shake Avery's hand after the game last night???

Because Avery is a PITA. Did you not see what he did to Marty?
There was one game where he was in front of the net trying to block Marty's view (which is normal), but Avery decided to be an ass about it and actually FACED Marty and held his stick up to try and distract him. Avery started pushing and shoving, and Marty pushed him back.
Avery = JERKOFF. End of story.

I kind of agree with Brodeur....I don't think I would have shaken his hand either.

I kind of agree with Brodeur....I don't think I would have shaken his hand either. I thought it was funny at first but then I thought "What an a**, he just wants to show off. " I think he disrespected a fellow athlete.

Freaky.. I'm with you 100 percent... I don't care who anybody is or what you think they did to you.. barring any major injury.. he disrespected a fellow athlete and that just puts them both on the same level IMO...

I'm with the two of you. I've always been a big Brodeur fan but this screams of poor sportsmanship and a poor loser. How many interviews did he do after "the incident" during which he said it didn't get to him and it was just "Avery being Avery", but still classless? How is not shaking Avery's hand during a time-honored NHL tradition any less classless? There have been other cases of this kind of behavior in the past and I've thought the same at those times. Marty should have sucked it up and been the bigger man IMO.
Now I'm going to take a break from the ever-stressful hockey and watch Enchanted again. LOL Nothing like some good cheese from Disney to relax me.
