He wasn't afraid to sacrifice his body was he? I was just talking to my husband about that tonight.. how many times we watched him just throw himself in front of the puck.

Sad to see him go but amybe we will have years of Wesley's since he will be involved in the defensemen's development.

I'll miss seeing that #2 on the ice, but it's good to know that he'll be directing our defensive corps. & that we'll see his #2 up there next to Ronnie's in The Castle rafters. At least he got to win one Stanley Cup.

This is so sad..I wanted him to go one more year Glad he is staying with us though. He was great for us, he will be greatly missed. We need a new shot blocking machine. I hope he enjoys his time with his family. (And I totally played soccer against Amanda last year, and he was there because of his foot. It was awesome.)
