Cam might be the shyest human alive. We had a very long discussion regarding that today and I think Cam is definitely scared of females and just the public eye in general. That's why I <3 him so much!! Thanks for the explanation, wardo. It's very truly appreciated. When I met Cam in person after the 2/28/06 and the 3/2/06 practices at RBC, I wondered if I'd offended him. Even though I was beyond polite and gentle, he didn't want to seem to have anything to do with me! All during our week in Raleigh and on the flight back to LAX (aw, heck, for a year since), I was still worried if I'd done anything to put him off. However shy he may be off the ice, he's as calm and Zen as any netminder could be in net. Here's to a complete and speedy recovery for the Boy Wonder! Jan/GSBG

I think you should ask him t sign it tangled.... he'd probably get a kick out of it!!!! All our boys seems to like attention from time to time.... (with the exception of Cam.... it makes him chew his lower lip)......

Ah the lower lip nervous habit. How I love it and yet how it makes me laugh at the same time.
And it's not you Jan, he is really, really shy. Not that I could've had a conversation with him, but when I was at practice with Kathy and got his autograph, I didn't hear him say more than 3 words to anyone there. Most of it was just "you're welcome" as he handed stuff back.

That's how he has been after every practice I've been too. He's just a quiet dude.

Most of it was just "you're welcome" as he handed stuff back. I definitely appreciate your clearing that up for me, Heather -- thank you! It's worth knowing that he's intensely quiet and extremely shy, much like former Ducks Stanislav Chistov and Sergei Fedorov. By contrast, Teemu Selanne is about as "Hi, everyone! Good to see you!" ;D ;D as Commo is -- probably even more. Talk about a bubbly, eager, outgoing guy! Jan/GSBG

My mom snapped this pic while I was talking to David and having him sign my puck.

I was doing this all last night: Hahaha, Why were you doing that? Because you realize your favorite should have been Tanabe all along? I swear if JR doesn't resign Tanabe....he will be getting daily letters from me telling him what an idiot he is.

I would rather him have to deal with those letters than deal with Tanabe again next season.
(Sorry.)

When he scored the first one, I couldn't believe it and then he scored a 2nd one!! I was sure the world was about to end.
