I don't think so Mel. ^^ I'll be surprised if we don't have more ladies pulling for the Pens than the Habs..lol

I honestly couldn't care less at this point. LOL
I'd be okay with the Habs advancing but I don't like their coach. I'd be okay with the Pens advancing, but I'm tired of them in the Finals.
HOWEVER, to keep viewership up and ever have a hope of getting a real television deal again, we NEED a Pens/Hawks or Pens/Wings final.

I definitely like the Pens more than the Habs, so I'm with you on this one, Mel. But I don't want them in the Finals again. I love J Staal and all, but no. LOL
Seriously. Is it time to go to Finland yet?

I don't care half as much when the Canes aren't in it. Heck, I don't think I've actually watched a playoff game yet.

I guess probably a lot of Canes fans haven't. I guess I'm almost as much a fan of the sport as I am a fan of the Hurricanes. I love me some hockey! LOL

I absolutely love hockey and I'm a fan of the sport first and foremost. This season though has worn on me more than any other. It's the first time ever since I started watching hockey that I haven't had one of my teams in the playoffs. At the very least, right up to the conference finals, there's usually a team I pull for more than most. This year, not so much....

... Jordan's done for the season. brb gonna go cry in a corner. --- If the Pittsburgh Penguins are to repeat as Stanley Cup champions, they will have to do it without Jordan Staal. Staal underwent surgery Friday night to repair a severed tendon in his ankle and will be out for the remainder of the playoffs. It is the same injury that caused Andrei Markov to miss 35 games at the beginning of the season. The Thunder Bay, Ontario native had two goals and two assists in seven games for the Penguins in this year's playoffs, the loss will be felt on the Penguins penalty kill where the Selke Trophy nominee excels. Staal had never missed an NHL game due to injury to this point in his career, having played 358 consecutive games.
