He really is the cutest damned thing in the world, our young Chad! We have handsome guys, we have rugged warrriors, but Chad corners 'cute', hands down.
I was SO flippin' nutso over his first goal (AGAINST BRODEUR!!!!!!!), and then when he got #2, I couldn't decide what to do! dance, run until I passed out, shout out the door? oh, if only it had been at home where the roof would have come down on his head. He really has stolen hearts. If the Canes have a 'pet', it's our boy Rosie.
I hope that Sunday's N & O has a nice interview with him. Or I shall have to send hate mail to the reporters... feature story on Rosie!!! do it or die!
Ok, I'm through with my All-For-Chad rant. Could not have happened to a nicer young man. Kermie, since you are going to become Mrs Kermie LaRose, and Chad is my adopted son, that will make you my adopted daughter-in-law. I'm thrilled!

Chad's a cutie and a sweetheart, what more could a team ask for?

Somehow, I never saw this picture before and it just cracks me up -- Rosie's all "America's Next Top Model" posing. LOL. ![](http://i74.photobucket.com/albums/i246/kermelbar/roseadamswait060406.jpg) Chad LaRose #59 (L) and Craig Adams #27 (R) of thhe Carolina Hurricanes wait for the end of an NHL Stanley Cup media availability session at the Marriott Crabtree hotel June 4, 2006 in Raleigh, North Carolina.

*snickers* Hey, my future Mr.'s birthday is next week, the day before my dad's. It's a sign! =.) He'll be *gulps* 25. d**n it, I'm old. Heh, just stumbled upon this one. Guess which former Lightning goalie Rosie's beating on that one? ![](http://images.tsn.ca/images/stories/20050922/canes_78747.jpg)

So Heather and I went to the Battle of the Badges today and it was great fun! Especially when we had no problem getting third row seats -- and realized shortly that Cole and Rosie would be coaching the team whose bench was straight across from us. I think we spent more time watching the coaches than we spend watching the game, but the guys on the ice were surprisingly good.
I tried to get pics, but they were just too far away and the bench turned out dark.
We're going back next year, for sure. =.)
