WooooHoooo. I want to know who now has pictures of Shannon and me. Lol!!! That was my first airport greeting experience and it was AWESOME!! The only player or staffer who did not wave or toot his horn was Tim Gleason. He was instead on his phone. I figure he likely had a ton of messages from friends and family. . Ray Whitney not only waved and tooted but rolled down the window and drove down the line high fiving the fans. Our team is awesome and I hope I never take them for granted. .

Uh yes, I'd like to know whose camera I'm now on! Lol I fell in love with the team in the 06 run so last night was the first airport run for me too. SO SO cool! You could tell that our team was genuinely happy and excited to have the support last night. We are so lucky with our group of guys.

Even the Devils are in awe of our awesome hockey fans! Quote: Defenseman Colin White, the Devils' most physical player on the back end, said he expects more of the same in Game 4 as in Game 3 — a hard-fought game in a very loud building.
"We know it's going to be that way. Every game has been a battle," White said. "The fans last night were great. We've been here before but you forget just how loud it is. It was pretty awesome to play in front of.
"It's always great to play in front of a group of fans that's passionate. I give a lot of credit to these fans. They're here early and enjoy themselves. It's great to see."

Hmmmm, maybe we helped the Devils too? I don't like that! LOL
I'm positive the lots were full by the time the Devils bus rolled in.

From everything I've read some of them feed off of our fans and some are a little intimidated by the noise so I think it goes both ways. I guess we could always try the silent treatment tomorrow night and see how that works! LOL

Marty and Coach Sutter complaining about officiating make roll my eyes so hard I'm afraid they're going to roll across the floor. Really? After what we went through in Games 1 and 2? Really? Puhleeze!
I just hope we get screwed in the head Marty on Thursday and not I'm so pissed nothing is getting by me Marty.

Jussi sets a new playoff record! WOO HOO!
Better late than never Wednesday, 04.22.2009 / 10:28 AM / 2009 Playoffs Conference Quarterfinals NHL.com Jussi Jokinen's goal is the latest regulation game-winner in Stanley Cup Playoffs history. The previous record holder was Bob Pulford, who scored with two seconds left in Game 1 of the 1964 Stanley Cup Final to give the Maple Leafs a win over the Red Wings. The goal is a good omen for the Canes, as Toronto went on to win the Stanley Cup.
Latest regulation GWGs in playoff history:
2009 - Jussi Jokinen (Hurricanes): 19:59
1964 - Bob Pulford (Maple Leafs): 19:58 *
1987 - Mikko Makela (Islanders): 19:57
1997 - Eric Lindros (Flyers): 19:53
1989 - Don Barber (North Stars): 19:53
* Won Stanley Cup

Marty was setting his self up for it the whole game.

Marty was setting his self up for it the whole game. Agreed! It looked almost like Marty was coming out just to get Jussi to be called for interference and have a PP when OT started. Look how that one ended up... He was so nonchalant until the goal stood, as if he thought FOR SURE that Jussi would get called for interference. I don't see why this whole thing has become such a "controversy." I don't think there's anything to argue about between Devils/'Canes fans on this one because it was obvious that Marty was fishing for a call. Jussi did nothing wrong except for the bump itself, which seemed that it could not be helped.
