Looks like JWill has made at least one convert: "Maybe this is the flogging of a dead horse but Williams brings so much more to the table then Patty O. He can throw a check, take a check, make a pass, drive the net, work the cycle, etc etc. When that trade went down I thought the 2nd rd pick we made to get the deal done was too much but watching him play makes me think it was well worth it. And he certainly looks like the product of an illegitimate child of Dale Hunter and Bono." Backhanded compliment, but we'll take it. Also, the resident camera nut on their forum has unknowingly given us a lovely Christmas gift. www.letsgokings.com/gallery/showimage.php?i=9859&c=293Yes girls, the curls are on their way back.

Oh dear me.. It's the CURLS! WOO HOO! Thanks so much for finding that and sharing it with us Ellie. It's great to see he is finally getting some love over there but I'm not so sure about him looking like the "illegitimate child of Dale Hunter and Bono"! LMAO

JWill injured at 15:33 of the first period behind the Phoenix net. Kopitar fell on him when they were both hit by the same player, can't tell if he either broke his right leg or effed up his right knee, but the Phoenix announcers were very sure it was bad because they could hear him scream up in the press box when the trainer manipulated his leg. (gag)
Will update when I find out what it is, hate to keep you waiting but don't want to forget it to easilly.

Update:
It is a broken leg. And it did look painful as usual. Wonder if JWill called Rosie to ask how he should tackle this one.

I woke up to an email from Tracy on this, not the way to start the day. I guess if he has to be injured a broken leg is better than f'ing up his knee again. Poor Justin, he just can't win can he? *sigh*

Couldn't sleep last night so I was looking at twitter on my phone and saw this. Poor guy. Makes you wonder if he has some sort of deficiency somewhere in his body or did he do something that has given him such bad luck with injuries.

I think he'd have been in sorry shape to begin with, but Kopitar's falling on him at the same time sure did not help matters.
Kopitar's take on the matter:
(on Williams’ injury…) KOPITAR: “It’s pretty frustrating to see a guy go down like that. It’s tough, but we definitely cannot take that as an excuse. We’ve got to battle through everything right now.”
(on whether he saw how Williams got hurt…) KOPITAR: “No, I didn’t. I don’t even know if it was me or Jovanovski. We got tangled up and we went down. I kind of skated away. At first, he didn’t seem hurt at all to me, so I skated away. Then I looked back and he was laying there and, as soon as I got down there to him, I knew it wasn’t good at all, because he was pretty mad and pretty frustrated.”
Coach Murray's view from the bench:
(on Williams’ status…) MURRAY: “I haven’t been told, other than that it’s a broken leg. I can’t play doctor. I can’t predict. I have no idea. We’ll take him back on the flight with us tonight, he will see our team doctor and we’ll get the word out tomorrow.”
(on the Kopitar line lasting two shifts…) MURRAY: “Two shifts, I know. It’s very disappointing. It’s very disappointing for Willie. You know, he’s gone through some injuries here in the last couple years, and he worked hard to get back to playing a good game. He was really happy with the line and how everything was going at the start of the year. It’s very unfortunate.”
(on whether Williams had x-rays at the arena…) MURRAY: “I don’t know anything more than that it’s broken. And I said that on the bench. As soon as it happened, I walked over to Jamie Kompon and I said, `I think he broke his leg.’ When he was coming in front of the bench, on the stretcher, pulling his hair, he was hurting. He was hurting a lot.”
I'm beginning to think we need to do some serious hunting for like four leaf clovers or something because JWill's luck only seems to find the bad end. Grrrr.

So I went to check on my fantasy team and saw that JW(who is on my team) was dropped from all these teams and knew he was hurt. I just can't believe this keeps happening to him. And can I just say that those pictures made me cry. Poor thing. ![:'(](//storage.proboards.com/forum/images/smiley/cry.png)
