I don't know if anyone watched the Leafs/Caps game last night. We didn't stay up through the entire thing but now I wish we would have. Apparently poor Gerber earned himself a three game suspension. tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=272558

This was nice to read. I'm surprised it took so long.
Quote: Florida Panthers' trainer who tended to Zednik to be honoured Mar 5, 2008
SUNRISE, Fla. — Dave Zenobi, the Florida Panthers' trainer who helped save winger Richard Zednik's life, will be honoured Thursday night for his efforts.
Zenobi will receive the ADT Good Sport Award, in recognition of his work in the moments immediately following Zednik's injury in Buffalo on Feb. 10. Zednik's neck was slashed by the skate of teammate Olli Jokinen, who fell headfirst to the ice.

Cujo was amazing..I hope he is playing for all three games. It was quite an ending to the game.....almost made me wish that the Leafs would make the playoffs!!

I think it's great that the Leafs got the extra point from the Caps. lol So did Cujo have to come off the bench stone cold for the OT and the shoot out? WOW.

Sorry but as bad as the refs are getting these days, I'm a little surprised that this hasn't happened a little more often. And thats awesome that they are finally honoring the trainer.

Yeah Cujo had to go in stone-cold.....he played 5:57 mins......remainder of the third/5 min overtime and the shoot-out. He said the funniest thing was the expression on his teammates face when they told him he was probably gonna end up playing as they were watching Gerber and the ref.
That's great about the trainer....it is nice to see the 'off-ice' people be recognized.

I wasn't sure where to put this so I put it here. www.tsn.ca/nhl/story/?id=280107For those that don't know Florida, Lakeland is about 1/2 hr northeast of Tampa. I was surprised at first he didn't say the Lightning but with the season they had this year, he aimed up.

Oh I saw that yesterday Kath. The Caps manager and several of the players already came out with rebuttals. Of course the "dealer" did fail to mention just when this was he supposedly sold roids to the Caps players. I'm sure there will be a pretty in depth investigation.

Guess this means Lavi isn't going to the Wild.
New Minnesota Wild general manager Chuck Fletcher has wasted no time putting his stamp on the team by hiring Todd Richards as the Wild's new head coach.
Richards has a history with Fletcher who hired him to coach the Pittsburgh Penguins' AHL affiliate Scranton-Wilkes/Barre in 2006. The 43-year old Richards spent last season as an assistant for the San Jose Sharks under Todd McLellan.
Sources have also told TSN that Wild assistant general manager Tom Lynn has been let go.
Details to Follow.
